I am in Basel for the weekend and shall today be heading into the city centre to look around the shops and hopefully find some Sinn watches.

Would anyone here be able to point me in the direction of a shop where I can take a closer look at Sinn watches in the flesh? I am interested in the 656 and 756 UTC but any model will do to start with.

Thank you for any hlep in advance

Sinn don't have many stockists - according to the German website the only one in Switzerland is in Seuzach, not Basel. Sorry frown

Thanks.

Returned from Basel and had a good walk round but did not see any Sinns.

Hardly a shock

1) They're German not Swiss made.

2) They have a very limited dealer network.

Well Honda is a Japanese made but I can see them in Switzerland.

I'm not that versed with watches so was just looking for some initial help.

Sinn have a very tightly controled distribution network. So unless you go second hand its unlikley you'll find a watch other than from an official dealer.

The UK for example only has one official source, who, it just so happens sent me this on yesterdayyes

It is lovely, but can I suggest winding it up? hehe

Looks fantastic.

I'm tempted with one of these too.

What does the quality feel like, specifically the bracelet?

Very nice - for me it was a toss-up between that and what I eventually decided on.

"I'm a little concerned that there's no fine adjustment though."

They do do a half size link though - if a little pricey !

Same bracelet on my 903.

When it arrived yesterday I set it to GMT on the web, and the acuracy over 36 hours is quite stagering. It hasn't lost or gained a single secondyikes I'm going to wear it for a week and see how acurate it is at the end.
Same with my 856. Seems to gain about a second a day at the most which, compared to my Stowa and Speedmaster, is bloody impressive.

Try Neil at chronomaster.co.uk

I've just bought a 656 from him.
