Hi,

Thought might be worth asking, I got made redundant last weds im an account manager.
Being a watch fan i have always wanted to work in the industry.

I have contacted swatch, checked with the major retailers etc.

Does anyone work in the industry as an account manager?
Any advice on how to get in?
Any help or advice much appreciated.

Thanks
Oli

I'm sorry you were made redundant and whilst I can't help you with getting into the watch industry I do hope you make it.

Enjoying your job is a great thing, keep persevering.

Right, you want to start by talking to Grant Black of Jackson Maine, a recruitment consultant for the jewellery industry.

Most of the main players are part of either LVMH,Richemont or Swatch group, try these guys as well.

Hope this helps.....
