...to change a Quartz movement to an automatic one?

My navy/gold Aquaracer is, IMHO, a fantastic watch and I would love it if the movement was automatic. I know Tag made the aquaracer in both Quartz and automatic so would it just be a case of getting someone to slot an auto movement in or do the original automatics have larger cases to accomodate the movement?

When it comes to watches, all I really know about is aesthetics unfortunately so any help would be appreciated!

Your best bet is to try and find an second hand automatic model that you like. I presume that tag made the automatic in the same colour combination.

The case/case back is different. You'd do better selling yours and buying a good used auto, as has been suggested....
