My 20 month old baby picked up my gmt master and decided to throw it downstairs. Landed on a hard tiled hall and the cyclops is cracked. Aaaaaaaaaaarg. Any idea who can repair glasgow or edinburgh and cost??

Probably cost 120 quid to service. Is it insured?

I think they are a bit crap personally. I've had one for 10 years and it needed servicing after 2yrs to sort out the auto-wind thingy. Meanwhile my 80 quid citzen army watch that power's itself from light keep going and going with not so much as a polish.

I've had my GMT II for almost 10 years now, wear it daily including 4 / 5 times a week to the gym lifting weights etc gets bumped and knocked all the time. Not had it serviced once and other than looking a bit worse for wear now has been 100% reliable.

I'd check the timing over a few days or a week to figure out whether the movement needs to be looked at before handing it over

Check your home insurance too.
