Right, next month I'm going to buy a new watch, the itch must be scratched!
Problem is, I can't make my mind up out of the three watches polled!
Black Monster:
Night Monster:
Traser Classic Auto Pro Blue:
I'm erring towards the night monster - the only thing really putting me off is that it is posted from Japan, and I really don't want to pay the import duty!
The Black Monster is up for £150 or so, the Night Monster is £250 + duty, the Traser is £350, that's pretty much my maximum.
I also have the option of not buying anything next month, and adding the money saved to my fund for a 45.5mm PO. Specifically this one:

The two problems with that Omega are the hands and the use of orange. I could never buy such a watch.
Have to agree, the orange is tacky and makes it look like a childs watch imo. Other than that it's nice (although I agree, not that keen on the hands) I though but there are nicer Omegas that I assume are similar price.Regardless, if the OP likes it, that's all that matters and as above, my advice would be to save for it IF he can afford to do so. Seiko make nice watches (although like the Omega above, they have much better/nicer looking ones elsewhere in their range).
The best lesson my dad taught me was "Never settle". If the Omega is what you really want, you will buy one of the others and end up buying the Omega as well. If you are happy to have two more watches instead of one, then that is all well and all good.
So, if you only want to buy one watch, then wait and get the Omega.
Of the other watches you posted though, the Night Monster without a doubt.

Hmm, the only problem with saving for the Omega is that I'll probably not have enough folding to buy it this year, then I'd also have the dilemma of "buy a PO or settle some debt", in which case the debt would probably win.
I'm still leaning towards the Night Monster, I can always look to get a PO for my 30th birthday (in 2 years time).

LOL!!
ok then SenseHeads (common sense matters!)
I've spent the last half hour spreadsheeting, and it's not viable to get a PO at the minute however....
I can afford a Night monster, increase repayments by a factor of 3 and still have enough money to live on sustinance other than aldi baked beans and dry bread!
Win/Win Situation!

Well we'll see... Things aren't tight, but increasing repayments will lead to me having more folding to spend, which will bring a PO into focus a bit earlier!
As for new/used... Not in a place to say with 100% certainty yet but I'd prefer a new one!
Of course, if you feel like shifting yours on for the princely sum of £250, I would be interested

Mines a keeper
But don't dismiss SH. I got mine from a seller on TZ and it was less than half RRP ie less than £1k.
And the fact that its not brand new means I'm not too bothered about the odd scratch etc.
If I'd paid over £2k for it, I'd probably only keep it for "best" which would be a bit of a waste really.
Yep! Even if they're divers/tool watches/beaters I'll be a right sissy with it if it was brand new.But don't dismiss SH. I got mine from a seller on TZ and it was less than half RRP ie less than £1k.

Commander... I both envy and loathe you in equal measure now!!
I'm almost set on a Night Monster now, after having a 45.5mm PO in my grubbies, I was impressed by the size of it, and to see one up against a monster gives a good sense of scale.
