Anyone ever done this?

Has anyone ever one done this:
I have just sent my old faithful Ollech & Wajs ID3066 off to get serviced (it has a hard life, bless it), and thought "what shall I do when I don't have a watch for a few days?"
Worn on my right hand. I have no idea where I got that habit from!
So I thought, sod it, and went and ordered something I've always fancied - a Seiko SKX009 - in the nice retro pepsi style colours.
This is a big step for me, this will be the first time I have owned more than one watch. Hopefully this puchase, even though relatively small compared to what I could have bought, will keep the watch demons at bay for a while. But I'm sure they will be back....
Edited to put back my waffle about Mrs Prand getting annoyed by me "just looking" at watch shops when in town. Sad thing is, even if I bought that IWC, JLC Rolex etc I lust after, I will still be looking at them and their friends in shop windows...

On a much lower rung of the ladder, I felt very guilty spending £79 on a Citizen Eco-Drive Chronograph before Christmas. Now the same shop (H Samuel?) have a very nice looking Rotary at £69, and a Seiko Kinetic at £99. I can't help feeling drawn to them, despite having a perfectly working G-Shock for sports, a Rotary Swiss Commando for "spare" and a CK for "dress".
I can't think of another occasion when I'd wear either, but I want them...
