Some of their estimates are a bit odd imo...

How can a 1990s Alfred Dunhill Quartz watch be estimated at more than a 1930s vintage JLC??? (Lots 51 and 52)

There appears to be some bargain Rolexes there though, if they go for estimate - 1999 Rolex Datejust estimate between £1000-£1500, 2006 GMT Master-II £1200-£1800

Steel and gold Daytona (lot 80) at £4/5,000? Wow, how times have changed! But the Submariner (lot 138) is surely going higher.

Probably. A battered, but original example recently sold on eBay at £45400. That watch didn't have the correct sword hands that lot 138 features. We'll see.

Interesting where they're pricing the Newman Daytona too.

White gold on black strap for 5-6k...Is it me or does that seem better value than 6k for a steel/steel?

Dont forget you will have to pay 20% commission as a buyer on the final hammer price so this has to be factored into the price.
