Excuse the pun, but it had to be said!!

While getting the bracelet resized on my NM at Ernest Jones, I was browsing through some of the other watches that were in stock, and noticed "Ball" watches. Having never heard of them, they ticked the mental box that said "ooh, niche!"

I've been having a spy at their website - www.ballwatchusa.com and there's a few that are quite nice in a "more sports watch than dress watch" type of fashion.

I really quite like this one - the Engineer Master II Diver link

Looks like it uses Tritium tubes for the lume too, so should be nice and bright - it's up for £920

They also do a COSC spec diver too which looks quite tasty:

A bit fussy for me but there was one for sale on TZ and the lume looks very cool.

I find them a tad fussy & I doubt they will hold their value especially with our (still) very week pound inflating the purchase prices.
