Hi guys, I wonder if you could give me some advice. My wife has a 7 yr old yellowgold datejust with diamonds on the numbers(sorry if I'm not very technical)which she hardly wears.
She wanted something less ostentatious, which Rolex would you recommend? Budget less than £10k, and how much do you think her watch is worth against a px?
Any other advice or opinion would be much appreciated?

If you're looking to spend £10k plus the part exchange value of your watch your probably looking at an updated version of yours. You probably have the 79178 with President bracelet and diamond dial, your budget will get you the new 179178 which has a heavier case/bracelet.
A bit like changing a Range Rover TD6 for a Range Rover TDV8, they look almost the same but are subtly different/improved.
