Which ladies' watch, up to £600...

...in gold, on a bracelet, and must be new and available fom the high street (or reasonably quickly from elsewhere).
I've been asked for suggestions for this, a 60th birthday present. Buyer was looking at Accurist and Rotary, the latter of which I've not completely dismissed, but I cannot help thinking there a 'watchier' brands out there.
Pointed her in the direction of Longines (it'll be quartz for that price) and Oris (auto'), both of which will have to be S/S with gold plated detailing. Obvious suspects (Ebel, Rado, TAG) out of budget or nothing suitable in the range.
So, PH massive, you've never failed me before: What have I missed?
PS. "watchier", as in more watchy, may not be a real word...

Same problem myself, but for sporty there's the Omegas, classy I guess would be the Cartiers but apart from that it's whatever you can find rootling about the shops. Have you considered a smaller mans watch? The only 'watch' watchy watch I could find was one of the new Sinns but that's outside your timeframe. Bang on the money but Ti not Au!
