That's a bit like saying "My mate's got £15,000 to spend on a new car. Any ideas?" If someone said that, you might want to ask a few questions about his lifestyle and what he wanted to use it for...whether it would be his only car to use every day, or something for the weekend. If it was to be one of a number of cars, you'd ask what he had already. Same applies here I think.thanks
fair enough, he currently owns a Raymond Weil that is a bit cartier tank like. as such i think he would be after a round face.
I know he likes the style of Daytonas, Navtimers and the Tag Carrera range. Cant' see him going for someone like Sinn or anything as I think he is after one of the more recognised brands.
Hope this helps and sorry for previous vagueness.

Chunky watches for 2500 that aren't Omega? Interesting concept!
Oris?

Bremont (I can't decide between this watch with the black or the white face)

Baume et Mercier

I'm rather partial to the last two, bit more dressy than perhaps envisaged though.
Or you could stick with the original idea of the Tag, still a cracking looking watch.
