Watch valuations
Discussion
Whats the going rate for a watch valuation these days?
Just phoned my local jewelers and got a price of £30 until I told them the valve and then it went up to £45.
The insurance company is insisting on a current valuation, even though it's a current Rolex sports watch, problem is the RRP has rocketed since I bought it, the fustrating thing is the valuation is just going to be the current RRP, and £45 for someone to look in the current Rolex catalogue and write the price down seem to be taking the mick a little. and it'll take a week
