I've got a bit of a hankering for a Seiko auto and am hoping that you can help.

From reading here, the SKX007 is well regarded and I quite fancy one with a steel bracelet (k2 version) as per this:
http://www.sporttek.co.uk/Sports+Watches/Diving+Wa...

So, here's the question:
- I remember checking out a titanium seiko years ago. Seemed like an interesting material to make a watch from. Do Seiko do a titanium divers watch? Are there any issues with titanium that I should know about?
- According to the specs, the watch uses Hardlex crystal. To my knowledge, my Tag and Zenith both have saphire crystal, is there a big difference? I've never yet managed to scratch either of my other two watches and really don't want to buy a future watch that is any easier to scratch.
- Anything else I should know about on the SKX007?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldnt buy from them. Their price supporting comment suggesting that £100 watches are fakes is absolute rubbish.

Absolute daylight robbery. You can buy that watch for well under £200.

I went to try on an SKX007 today. Couldn't find an auto, but got to checkout the Kinetic equivalent. Nice watch, but unfortunately simply much too big for my preference. Guess I'll hunt through their options.

Anyone got some good links to their products which include the depth of the watch?

Too deep? The Seiko's aren't particularly deep watches, relative to other diving watches.

If the 007 is too big, there is a mid size SKX013 ~ 38 mm bezel to try. It looks identical to the 007

I have a Seiko 007, perfectly good watch, keeps reasonable time (its an auto) bought from TZ UK where you will see a lot come up, usually modded (as was mine) to make them look a bit different and with prices around £100-£150. Titanium looks great when its new but my experience is that its too soft and scratches badly (but can be cleaned up easily) but with really big watches the weight saving can be significant compared too steel.
