I have recently ordered a Toshi for my newly-acquired Glycine Lagunare 3000 and now I fancy a change on my Fortis B-42 chrono which is currently on the stock strap (20mm black leather with white stitching as shown).

I'd like a brown strap (probably Havana or Tobacco from the Toshi range) but which contrast colour do I get for the stitching?
Orange to pick out the colour of the sub dial hands and the tachymetric scale on the rehaut?
White as it is more traditional?
Another combo I may not have considered?
Any views? Has anyone got any pics of a Fortis or similar on a Toshi ?
Thanks

Personally I'd go really simple and have matte black and black stitch. If I was looking at contrast I'd have white.
I have 6 Toshi straps so you might say I'm a fan of his stuff but there's another guy called Micah at Vintager Straps and he does really amazing work too. I have three of his straps and they are a touch more expensive than Toshi Straps but the leather tends to be a bit softer and his quality is top drawer. Take a look at his web site - I reckon V Dark would look superb on your Fortis - http://www.vintagerstraps.com/
Here's a couple of my Vintager Straps:

Both guys will help you make a choice if you send a pic of the watch to them and so far both have been spot on with their recommendations to me...

Thanks Dai. Love your pics.
I want brown as I tend to wear the watch in casual situations (it struggles to fit under a double cuffed shirt), so perhaps a mid brown with black stitching...
I've taken a look at the Vintager link and he has a couple of IWCs on brown straps with black stitching - they look really cool.
This guy also does some really good work, especially the buckles: http://www.thestrapsmith.com/
