Hey guys,

Looking for a nice large faced watch. ( very thick wrist, cant stand watches looking tiny and out of place)

Budget is about £100-£150 (Going to be a everyday work-horse) and would prefer it to have a leather strap (Or atleast not be metal)

I really like this one but the strap looks a bit naff, but the face is huge.

Anyone help out

(watch snobs need not reply!)

If you like it them go for it. That watch is enormous though !
You can pick up new straps very easily from a number of suppliers.

57mm??? eek

The hands look a bit small compared to the face. I have a 45mm version on a 20mm Nato (strangely the 45mm faces have 20mm lugwidths). I like it although having slim wrists, it does look a bit big. Frankly, it's down to how you carry it off, I guess. If you wear it with a suit, it would look weird. Wear it with casual, loose-fitting clothing and it will look fine, I think. I saw a casual-dressed chubby lass wearing a 50+mm U-boat style watch in white yesterday. It didn't look odd on her, although it was noticeable.

Have you considered strapping a kitchen clock to your wrist with some duck tape?

TW Steel are also quite 'in your face' - might be a bit above your budget though.

There's a company called In.dustry who build some very large and chunky watches.

Have a look at this Nautica beasty

Purchased on of these myself which arrived this morning.

It's a brick of a watch.... Not yet had time to check it out fully but I can answer any questions you want on this.
