Help with vintage watches please
Discussion
I'm new to this wing of the forum and also new to this fancy watch malarky.
I've previously been looking for a new watch and have always liked Omega and Breitling, however Breitling are too expensive for my budget and Omega are just and so too expensive.
Anyway, I happened upon an interesting antiques here which happened to have a couple of vintage watch dealers. I've never considered buying a vintage watch before but after seeing a Breitling 'Top Time' I was hooked. I didn't buy it purely on the basis that I didn't know the true value of it (it was for sale for £1100).
I've had a quick search is there anywhere that I can find the value of these things, or maybe reasonably price dealers (online or Bristol) where I can be reassured of getting a decent buy.
Thanks

Top times are superb- at one point I had 4 of them!
As it happens, I am selling one of my vintage top times at the moment.
One on the left in this pic (top time on the right is not for sale):

Slightly better picture (although those markers are silver not gold as they look in the pic- thats the flash):

Will get some decent pictures if you are interested...
Stainless case btw- not gold. Exceptional condition and on a new perforated racing strap..would have to look very very hard to find one in better condition- its immaculate.
edit:
This is not my one, but is the same model/dial/color... only mine has bigger perforations on the strap. Just to give you a guide idea.

Yes I love these watches, and i did my research before buying them!
