Best states in the america to buy a watch

As per the title what are the best states in the USA to buy brand new/prewoned breitling watches.

I'm particulary concerned with having a wide range of watches to view, might also consider preowned. Are there much differences in prices between states? This will be my first "serious" watch purchase so this is new ground for me. If it helps im looking at breitling naviter world's and breitling montbrilliant datora's.

Well, there is a whole area of NYC that is rammed full of jewllers (Jewllery District) many of whom specialise in second hand prestige watches. Do your research and you could get a decent deal, especially for cash as the NY sales tax (in the order of 8%) might suddenly disappear. However these guys are very sharp so know exactly what you want and what you're prepared to pay

Otherwise found some decent deals in New Jersey at the outlet malls but you did have to browse amongst stuff which was pretty much overpriced compared to many decent internet retailers

Thanks Chris, it was NYC that I had in mind but I thought i'd wait for suggestions. When you say do your research do you mean in terms of latest prices or knowing the eaxct model that you want? I already know the two models I will consider just need to think about the the colour of the dials.

Are the sellers prepared to haggle and how much can one expect to take of prices? Or will savings only be made if your a cash buyer (I will be paying cash).
