I have recently bought a Seiko SKX011J which I love, but was thinking it's a shame I can't see the automatic movement working away inside, and decided that I would really like an automatic watch where it's possible to see inside.

Initially I was considering something with a see-through back (a bit like the SRP029 in the Orange Monster thread) but would really like to be able to see inside when it's on my wrist. Does anybody know of any £200ish watches where you can see the workings of the watch from the front, like a lot of Zenith watches I have seen?

Thanks

http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Watches/Invicta-M...

Somewhere between a GMT2 and Sub, and it has a display back.
Sapphire crystal too, so pretty much scratch proof.

I have no idea of watches for your budget but you're looking for "skeleton watches"

Thanks for your replies. I found some in my price range but nothing that I really liked. I'll keep my eye out though now I know what they are called.

There's a very interesting tri-phase regulator on www.wernersflyingwatches.com that has visible movement sections on the front and back
