Hi, I got my son his first chain and thought I got a good deal on a chain but it gives him a rash. Now I don't want to get him a proper gold one yet because they are very expensive and thought if it gets lost or broken its not so bad.
My question is, will the silver chains that have been plated be ok on skin? because I think the one I got him was just cheap metal and plated.Thanks.
'edit' this was the closest to jewellery I could find.

its plated - thats why he got a rash - you need solid silver/gold.

most people are ok with these, except in exceptional circumstances.

Would stainless steel/titanium be ok too? Seeing as many watch straps are made of this, and you dont' hear many people being allergic.

Don't buy jewellery from Argos. Simples.
