What watch... £5000?
Discussion
I'm looking for a new watch to buy, up to about £5000, I've already got a breitling super avenger and I get a new Rolex Sea dweller Deep Sea coming tomorrow after a long wait, but i'm looking for something else that's a bit different.
I don't have to spend from £2000 - £5000 or maybe a little more, but i just want something a bit different bearing in mind what i've already got.
I've been looking at Graham watches, but my understanding is that they don't hold there money like the bigger names and as i'm a tight xxxx I don't want to lose a fortune on a watch when I decide that I want something new.. I've also looked at the IWC portugese chrono as an option, although this is more of a dress watch..
any ideas would be great.
cheers.

If you want something different take a look at Glashutte Original also VERY different is Dirk Dornblueth (you wont see many of those around as he only makes a few per month) but he has a waiting list of around 6 months. As you can probably guess I have a couple of Glashuttes and a Dornblueth and they are great pieces of engineering and rare too. If you are prepared to go used then you could take a look at Lange & Sohne or what about vintage rolex sports?
Good budget to have btw!

It looks very ordinary to me.
Urwerk are very different.

Due to impending divorce I will be off-loading several cars and watches. In fact I shall probably for the moment only keep 3 watches, my World Time, my Nautilus and the new Ernst Benz. This rather classic traditional Patek I will be putting up in the classifieds in the next week or so. I have a purchase offer from one of the London watch buyers for £3,500 for it. No idea what mark up they would want but would be looking for offers just north of their offer. May not be your thing but definitely different style to what you have. All papers, box etc.
