Vicky, did you take those pics yourself? They are excellent
How do you achieve the "lightbox" effect?
Don is on the money. The pictures are courtesy of WFW and if you click them will link you to the watch in question

I do have a pop up lightbox and a Nikon D50 somewhere, I'm guessing it's at the other house or the studio though as I had to use a bloody Nintendo DSi the other day.

I'm currently eyeing off the top one at the moment as well. Just a nice looking daily watch imo
They arrived today.
The bracelet on the Tauchmeister is huge. It needs about 10 links taking out to fit me.
The Red 5 looks ace on though. Very good quality for the price.
Both are very nice watches.

Now who can I give a Snoopy watch too?

Apologies all for the thread resurrection, but ND / anyone - what's the opinion on the Tauchmeister and Aeromatic watches in terms of quality and timekeeping? Been looking through the Werners website after discovering the link on PH, and while it will undoubtedly leave me in the minority on this forum, £100 seems a fair whack to spend on a watch for me, so I definitely would want something decent for the money rather than a couple of bits of costume jewellery...!
Apologies again for the resurrection - thanks in advance for any help!

I have one of each, and I had another Aeromatic previously. Generally, for the price (from Germany via eBay), I'm happy. The Tauchmeister is an auto; it's quiet, accurate and gets regular compliments. Not sure how long the power reserve is, but as long as it lasts overnight, that's fine. I don't wear any watch more than one day in a row anyway.
The Aeromatic is quartz (the yellow version of NDs red chrono above), and I like it. It's one a Hirsch Liberty Vintage strap, and has a nice retro look to it. As it's quartz, accuracy isn't an issue, and quality is just fine. I can't get the back off, but it's just tight, not buggered.
My previous Aero had a movable internal chapter ring, and when I got the watch, the nylon cog on the crown was crappy, so the ring wouldn't turn through 360deg. Not an issue for me (it was a tachymetre ring which, let's be honest, none of us actually use).
All in all, very happy, but I paid around half the prices being asked by PHs 'pet' watch seller.
