Why have I seen Seiko Orange Monsters with either a fully orange face or an orange face with a black band around them?

These are not fakes so howcome?

It's quite a common mod to take an orange Monster and swap the chapter ring from a black Monster to give the dual-tone face.

Cool - I might consider something simlar myself as it'll accentuate the toshi strap I'm having made.

Where's a good place to look for parts - I'd like to get some spares to put away for when the inevitable knocks occur.

Saves me suddenly finding out three years down the line I can't get a replacement bezel/glass/etc.,

:-)

Chapter ring and day date wheels, the best combination of standard monsters parts IMO.

What is not to like? think they look fantastic with a colour co-ordinated strap...

I'd really like a blue one too :-) Not even got the Orange yet!

Where do you get the parts from?
