I know what you mean, I've just returned from Lake Garda/Venice/Verona.
Some awesome watch shops, did u fly from Milan ? Nice watches in the duty free but shame about the prices.

I know too... Just got back from St Rafael in France and there was just about everything you could want there! Also, got to the France via the Alps and Turin, stopped in Megave and there was an awesome shop there with loads of B&R stock and Alpine chronometers which are very cool!

Still managed to buy nothing but now wish I had!!!

Off to Barbados in October....wifey will want diamonds so can't promise that a watch wont be purchased. I mean, what's good for the goose and all that! Wish me luck chaps!

in fact I think I was distracted by the fact there seems to be a local law which states all local females must be very tanned and no bigger than a size 6...
