Hooray - got my JLC back!
Discussion
Apparently, I was forwading the reverse face timezone too fast and something got stuck inside and it wouldn't wind.
Took it in, under warantee, at the end of June and I got it back yesterday - 15 weeks!
So nice to have back
it was a wedding pressie from the missus (she got a JLC as well) and I really missed it.

These watches, the cars I have the pleasure to punt around in, where I live, remind me every second of every day how fortunate I am (btw - my wife earns the same as me and makes all, I mean all, the clever decisions regarding our life - I'm in awe of her). I'm an average bloke that does the best he can. I buy good stuff because there were a bunch of guys wanting to create something that was world class and I really appreciate that - I've never been a follower of fashion but quality shines. I strive to do the same. Be honest and do the best I can. I try.
Watches encapsulate that and I'm proud to own some stunning peices but I still aspire to a Lange. I need to work harder and cleverer!
I have a Casio that rocks, I have a Rolex that rocks, I have a JLC that rocks etc...
I'm drunk - I'm rambl;ing
Does this make sense?
Edit: I'm inspired by these chattels - it works both ways.

The comment wasn't meant as anything other than a compliment.
If I had those watches, I'd be posting pics too. And that brings me to my next 'compliment' - mate THANK YOU because you have inspired me to have the balls to switch my girlfriend's forthcoming Christmas pressie from an expensive watch that only has value in status, to a watch that has value everywhere and will (hopefully) get her interested in watches as in more than just jewellery that tells the time... I've started another thread...
