Have been drooling over AP ROOs and Hublot Big Bangs for a while, and recently "discovered" Corum's Admiral's Cup range which, to me, looks at least as good as the other two.

What's everyone's thoughts on the brand in general, and the model in particular? How are resale values - seems that RRPs are fairly lower than either the AP or the Hublot.

Very nicely made, but if it's re-sale you're considering,we're talking freefall with a big bump for a landing...

Not really bothered about resale value, but if they do lose a lot of their value in the 1st/2nd year then I may be tempted by a used rose gold model or a used split seconds SS instead of brand new standard SS one

To cryptic for me mate... I've absolutly no idea what you're on about...

I'm either really thick, really out of touch, or I've totally missed the bus
A book by Hunter S Thompson about a journalist going on a road trip with a huge variety of drugs. Just sprang to mind because it does appear that the designer of your watch may have been taking hallucinogens at the time... I mean, vampire bats? On a watch? WTF?

hehe

I have to say, that love or hate the design, there is no doubting the quality... It is easily up there with Omega, Longines etc.. Very very nicely finished.. Keeps good time tooyes
Is that where Corum sits in the hierarchy of watch houses, near Omega and Longines? Thought it would be higher than that...

By the way, do they manufacture their own movements?

I have never seen anything like that before. I'm genuinely lost for words.

And why not indeed. It's the diametric opposite of my taste but you have to give them a nod of respect doing something like that - really unusual and different, nice buy.
