Well, went out this afternoon to finally buy myself the 45mm Omega PO that I wanted. But, after spending some time trying both the 45mm and the 42mm on. I decided it didn't like it frown
In isolation, the watch looks great, I like everything about it. It just didn't look right on the wrist though. I think the black bezel just didn't work for me, tried an orange bezel model and that was worse (IMO, it needs to be a solid orange not the metallic that it is.)

So, switched to a regular Seamaster, tried on both Blue and Black versions but still couldn't decide. Again, in isolation, I prefer the black version. But the blue one just looks better on the wrist, bit more suited to my regular colours/clothes etc.

Had a good look around for the titanium Seamaster but no one had one. Are these still being made? I think this might suit me as I can still get a black faced watch but not have the contrast problems of a black bezel.

Came home with a rather unsettled feeling! After being so sure and wanting it so much, not actually liking it enough to buy it was a surprise.

So, this?

or this?

Or any other suggestions? I'll go up to £2k, happy with second hand items and I want something classic and able to be worn casual or smart.

If you're happy with used models why not go for the blue faced seamaster pro that Neil has on chronomaster?

At only £775-00, the saving might even sway your decision!

Please buy it........it will stop me almost buying it most days of the week!!! wink

It's tempting. The saving makes the risk of not really liking it much more acceptable. The only thing against it is the bracelet. I find it a little busy compared to the ti one.

Need to see a pic of the blue face Seamaster on a brown Toshi strap.

Agree completely - if I bought it the strap would be changed the day it arrived for a nice tan leather.

I really must stop looking at it now!!! wink lol

Well, I was disappointed by the blue and the black Seamasters. Settled on the 42mm PO with orange bezel though, and black rubber strap. It looks phenomenal I think
