Goldsmiths want £320 for a service? Excuse me, the watch cost me £1950 when i bought 5 years ago! And besides, it's a watch, not a car!

Anyways, any sugestions? I dont mind who does it, so long as they have a good reputatation and a reliable. As ever, it seems words of mouth is teh way forward!

Call Rolex at Bexley direct and see if you can post it to them (special delivery is insured for up to £2500). It will probably be about £200.

A car would get serviced every year at probably the same cost so times your £320 x 5 and the actual eqivalent to a car is around £1500 so although still compartively high nowhere near as bad as it first appears.

It doesn't have to be Goldsmiths that can service your Rolex. Best bet is to ring round a few places and get a few quotes. I also feel that a £320 service isn't too bad after five years of use.
I assume the watch is an automatic?
