Archimede Pilot
Discussion
Anyone got one of these? Looking at getting one as a decent everydayer but not sure of the quality?

Any recommendations of similar styles (at a similar price) would be great

Anybody got any personal experience of those in the £3-500 range? They do look very nice and of reasonable quality but it's hard to tell without having them in your hand.... here's the Archimedie and Steinhart versions:

Stowa Airman/Flieger.
One of the original Flieger type watches, apparantly:
"During the 1940s, only five companies made the original pilot watches: IWC, A. Lange & Söhne, Laco, Wempe and STOWA."
Stowa is a bit more expensive, but probably better quality.
Yeah I'm basically after a good quality FliegerUhr replica, although the likes of IWC are a bit out of my price bracket at the moment. Plus I'd like one for everyday, which I don't think an IWC could really be, at least not for me One of the original Flieger type watches, apparantly:

I do like the Stowas, but maybe a bit on the small side for me (40mm). Although probably truer to the original I think it would look a bit silly on my larger wrist.
