As you have discovered - outrageously over-priced.

I'd love the R-50-TN. Thats the one in most BRM adverts i believe.

At £14k i think it may be a while before i can afford it though.

Seems like they're aiming for automatic (har har) exclusivity by dint of a breathtaking price tag.

You're well into "proper watch nerd watch" money at 18K; serious JLC/IWC/Breguet/Patek/etc pieces would be vying for my attention.

There's something oddly Graham-esque about them, too.

Do their second-hand values "do a Bremont"?

All handmade with exceptional craftsmanship such that I'd say they are among the best made watches out there.

I have a V12-44 that, I admit, wasn't cheap but it hasn't left my wrist since I bought it in July.

What price that?

I must admit that i really quite fancy one of these, originally it was this one that i rather fancied : MT-51/49 then i nearly choked on the price. So, i thought'd i wouldn't set my sights so high and am looking at either of these instead (prefer the first and last of them the most) :

Bremont watches don't exactly hang on to their value. Few watches do, of course; but the second-hand value of some of these "boutique" watches just falls off a cliff.

Ooooo now thats interesting. So where do you think would be the best place to get one of those second hand may be? If the price is right then for a nice used example, particularly This One, then i don't think that i'd be able to stop myself from getting one ! smile

FYI I was in The Watch Gallery on the Fulham Road (London) during the week and they have a nice selection on display, including one of the V6-44

Ooooooo cheers for that. I might take a trip over there and try one on. They look nice in the pictures but it all depends how it feels when wearing it.
