Cartier Santos 100 advise

Hi,
Im looking to buy my wife a Cartier Santos 100 for Christmas, but not sure which style to go for, either the black leather strap or the pink leather strap. My concern is that woman love to coordinate with bags, shoes etc which means a pink strap watch could spend more time spinning on a watch winder than on her wrist. what is the general feeling for the pink strap?
Also what do you think about a 33mm watch on a small wrist?

I wouldn't worry about the 33mm case size, as this is an accepted size for most women these days. My wife wears a 34mm Yachtmaster as an everyday item.
With regard to strap colour, black is more durable and far less likely to mark than pink. That said, you can always buy a pink as a spare to interchange with the black.....
