second hand watch values and sales

Hi guys,
I am looking to sell my MontBlanc Timewalker Chrono, but am unsure as for the best way to go about doing it. I approached a well known second hand watch dealer but was offfered silly money, does anyone have any recommendations or advice on the best way to sell an immaculate, rare watch.

Your options:
1) ebay - bad idea
2) Pistonheads' own classifieds section - beware of scammers; less likely if you avoid paypal and bankers' drafts
3) Sign up to one of the UK watch forums and make 50 sensible posts...

I got offered silly money for my Pam0048 too....really easy to put an advert on here though.
I'm not goin on eBay...and it'll take too long to post 50 'sensible' posts on a dedicated watch forum...if it doesn't sell I keep it.
