Doomed, I tell ye.

Get her some perfume.

Oh, wait. Your chances of getting that right are probably about the same.

Vouchers, mate. It's the way forward. Defer the actual purchasing to someone else.

Does she normally wear a watch? What's her style? Is she sporty etc?

I think at that price the old favourite of Christopher Ward would be a good shout, something for everyone in terms of style and in your budget unless you go for some of the newer autos.

Love it, can you ask that??? Anyone else remember Monty Python sketch re "does your wife like sports sir, does she?"

Chaps your answers and replies are great and exactly why i love this forum!

She does wear watches to work and out in the evenning she likes the more small and pretty watches, if i can say that. I have been looking at citizen watches and there are some real nice ones out there. I think she likes classy watches if thats possible and not what the usual wag likes e.g DKNY & GUCCI like the usual so she has a bit of an eye for it.

I have a Breitling for bentley which was bought for me a few years ago and she likes that but dont think she would wear it.

I just bought my wife a Citizen Eco Drive EW1250 for her Birthday. It's a bit under your budget at £110 though. I wanted to get her a 'proper' non-fashion watch (i.e. not Gucci or DKNY etc.) that she usually goes for. She seems to love it....
