Finding the best price - Tag Heuer Chronograph

Hi all,
My wife is looking to buy me a watch for my 30th birthday and I have set my sights on a Tag Heuer Carrera Chronograph. However there seems to be wildly varying prices, options to buy abroad etc etc.
This is the first watch of any real value that I have bought and so would appreciate a little 'steer' from those in the know if you wouldn't mind?
I'm after the CV2014.0786 which I understand to have been replaced by the CV2014.0794. Basically it is the black faced chronograph with the red hands and stainless steel strap.
Any help regarding best prices and places to buy from much appreciated.

Hi. I am also trying to find a watch, a Tag Monaco LS.
The cheapest place on earth to buy watches is apparently Malaysia. Other than that, i've been thinking about buying mine from a US website called prestigetime.com. All its reveiws seem positive and it the cheapest i've seen on the net

May be worth having a look around your local watch shop who sell Tag's, I bought mine this time last year from Goldsmiths and it had been reduced from £1,480 to £825.
I had almost bought one in Florida in the December and even with the exchange rate (which was good at the time) would have still cost me more than £825

I just thought that I would take the opportunity to thank Dominic Hackett for not only fantastic service but an outstanding price for the Tag Heuer Chrono I was presented with this evening!!!
I have to admit that it was a little odd giving my card details for a purchase of high value to a gentleman I had never met and for an item I had never seen, but it goes to show what positive word of mouth and recommendations do when it comes to customer confidence.
The watch is spot on and comes with all the necessary paperwork. It arrived in 3 days of giving Dom notice, and arrived the following day of despatch by 8.30 am.
I cannot recommend Dom enough to those that are genuinely after a watch at highly competative prices.
