Found this company through a link on TZ, has anyone on here got a watch from them?

Appreciate that for the cash it's the low end of watches but interested if anyone has one and if they think it's any good.

Yep ive got a 44mm hand-winding jobby. Very good quality and finish, everything works perfectly, tight fitting crown, no stripped screws...i'm really pleased with it. Plus the straps from Getat are excellent, its worth emailing them as there are loads of straps that arent listed on their website. For £60 odd they're brilliant.

Yes :

As far as I'm aware everything is made to order, so if you don't see what you want just let him know and he'll do it.

I've heard he's a very busy man (His name's Tat btw), and some folk on WatchUSeek were waiting a long time for orders. Some were waiting six weeks. I wasn't wearing mine so I sold it. It cost $120 and I sold it for $80 again on WUS. I had 6 people wanting it within hours, so if you don't like it you can flip it no problem.

I'd go for a steel one though, the 'PVD' was a bit thin on the crown, considering you have to wind it daily. The strap (like the other OP mentioned) was excellent, easily worth $20-30. It was super accurate to, I've heard he personally regulates each watch. I had to knock it back a minute maybe twice a month.

I was worried about the crown lever being a bit feeble, but it was solid enough.

Cards on the table, It's a knock off and PAM will be on top of this soon I would imagine, I bought it to wear around the house and flipped it as I'd never want to wear it out and bump into someone with the real thing.

I'll drop the 'Fake watches for fake people' line in here before someone else wades in with it.

Oh, and it was posted marked as a childs toy worth $5 which came in handy.

What he said.

I just said I want a 44mm PVD case, Gunmetal Movement (not sure if they have these any more) black on black sandwich dial, black strap and black stitching, and a sapphire crystal.

Don't get suckered into the skeleton movement, it looks horrid.

I really would go for a brushed steel one though, as I mentioned before the black 'PVD' won't last if you're wearing the thing daily.

Sneijder, how do you find the sapphire crystal, is there much glare/distortion? from my experience sapphire on cheap watches isnt a good idea as it lacks a proper anti-reflective coating, leading to the above effects.

It had a blueish tinge to it, and if you're fussy about fingerprints then it'll drive you mad. But it was solid, It would have taken on a radiator or a door knob and won easily !
