Been after one of these for ages. After doing the deal yesterday via TZ-UK, it arrived this morning. I've been out most of the day, so was loosing the light whilst getting some of these due to a slightly prolonged wresting match with the bracelet to get it off (as is often the case with really well fitting bracelets), so I could fit the straps.

on the Kevlar strap

on the Croc

and a fairly poor lume shot to finsh off

This watch is class - I love it.

Lovely. One of my favourites. I went for the Portugieser Chrono in black and have always thought I might have made a mistake. I can't see you ever regretting this decision.

Lovely.

Looks great, I particularly like it on the Kevlar strap.

It is a bit of a classic? IWC were one of the original makers of the pilot's watches?

Both the croc & the kelvar are genuine IWC.

The kevlar has a very nice IWC deployant clasp & the croc an IWC tang buckle so both quite expensive to buy separately if you "had" to.

Nice choice, I've had my 371701 for a couple of years now and still love it.

Anyone know how much that Kevlar strap is from IWC? I fancy one for mine.

^^ Give any IWC AD a call to check, but my last (possibly out of date) info is

IWC Kevlar strap RRP = £135 then you need either

IWC deployant RRP = £250

or

the IWC buckle RRP = £45

Apparently the IWC Alligator strap RRP = £165 presumably w/o buckle.

I really like the Kevlar strap and need to replace my Alligator one . . . Was also going to go for a deployment, so it looks like I may have to indulge wink

Thanks for the photo's Andy, helps with the decision making . . ..

Got to say the IWC deployant is a lovely thing, but it's not even remotely 20 x better than these

I saw this when it came up on TZ and almost went for it but I've got a few big bills coming up and couldn't get the funds together quickly enough.

Really stunning watch, I hope you enjoy every minute with it.

Yum lick

Looks like the one I used to own, on the kelar/deployment it is more comfy that a super comfy thing and I've not found anything yet to rival it banghead

Damn you all, with your enthusiasm for fine Swiss timepieces!

All my spare cash is going on an extension this year.

But yes, it did. Or more correctly 2 straps & a bracelet.

Lovely watch! I've got one on a Kevlar strap too.

Looking to flip mine shortly, so if you're after one, let me know. All papers and box etc included.
