I've got an Omega Seamaster that I bought in 2005, does this require a service? I'm thinking yes, so where and how much. I'm in the NW of England.

If you are looking having it serviced by omega through a local AD, it is fixed pricing menu, and I think last time I looked it was either 220 or 250 GBP and not entirely sure what the turnaround is but it is not quick.

Is it losing time?? If it's not then will leave it until it does start to. When you are ready there are a few recommened companies, the 2 off the top of my head are

watchdoctors.co.uk - Got my 2000 SMP serviced with them last year - £80 inc pressure testing and turned around in a week.

The other one I have heard good things about is rytetime - haven't used their services myself, but have read lots of good things about Steve and the quality of his service.
