IWC Dealers in Central London

I'm going to be in London in a couple of weekends time, and I'd like to get my mits on an IWC or two.

Any recommendations of dealers witha good range?

Take your pick from Watches of Switzerland - numerous ones around in Central London.

Also, the Wonder Room in Selfridges is worth a look and the watch hall in Harrods.

If it one model in particular you are looking for, might be worth giving Dominic H a shout - he fixed me (and plenty of others of us) with our watches, top guy to deal with.

WoS brazenly told me "we sell most of these above list, 'sir'" when I asked about discounts on new IWCs.

Oddly enough I didn't buy mine from them in the end.

If you're flying in/out, Heathrow and City have IWC merchants now.

I tend to pop into Wempe a lot. Their quality of service in significantly better than WoS and if you are serious they many be willing to "do a deal". Not much, but better than nought.

If you are willing to go further afield then you have Burrels in Tunbridge-wells who have always looked after me and given me a "good deal"

I've always managed to get a discount of between 10% and (on one occasion) 20% on my IWCs. I've bought them from ADs in Chester and Cardiff where there's never been a hint of the 'we sell them above list, sir' nonsense. Good luck with the hunt and the negotiation.

Never been a fan of WoS if i'm honest, so other suggestions are appreciated.

The Authorised Dealer in Chester is my favourite. They are very helpful and willing to negotiate. They had a good range of Aquatimers, Portugese, Pilot watches, Ingenieurs and some Vcs in stock when I was there a week ago. Got my eye on a new Aquatimer ...
