Battery change for a Cartier Tank?

Mrs has been into Goldsmiths this morning and they want £80 and 2-3 weeks to change it. Am I mising something? Surely it doesn't need to be sent away for a battery change?

Yes, so they can change the waterproofing seal and thus charge you more.

Have a look on the BHI website to find your nearest BHI watchmaker...£80 is taking the piss.

I was quoted the same £80.00 by goldsmiths for a cartier, walked across the road to Hillers &
the guy did it in front of me £3.99. was I happy! you bet!!
