I have a quad watchwinder but now have too many automatic watches whats the best way to leave them when not in use ?

ive been told unscrew the crown and pull out basically stopping them rather than let them run flat ?

can anyone help

cheers

Um. Doesn't that defeat the point of the watchwinder, then? I thought the watchwinder meant you didn't have to adjust the time plus there's the argument about keeping the watch from seizing up (may be a false argument).

biggrin I did read your post.

I guess you're just wondering how to store watches you have no plans for wearing any time soon. Well, I'd just let them sit. There are arguments for and against leaving them (I posted a while ago) but none of them are really conclusive. I've never had a problem with leaving an auto sitting for years without moving.

Just let them run down. I loosen the crowns very slightly.
