I've noticed that every week he seems to wear a different high end watch, does he own them or do the BBC hire them? I'm sure someone else must have asked this question and I missed it.

I'm sure i've read he's quite heavily into his watches. I wouldn't be suprised if they weren't all his.

Yes, I believe he is a bit of a watchaholic, and has a big personal collection smile

He's also extremely wealthy.

With a car collection to match the watches.

Don't mind the guy. Seems fine and is a petrolhead if the programme he was on with the classic car run was anything to go by.
Anyone know what his car collection is?

Pretty extensive by all accounts...

"Along with motorbikes, quadbikes and other motoring paraphernalia, we counted a Lotus 340R, a 1959 Chevy Corvette, an Aston Martin DB5, a Shelby GT350 Mustang, an Audi RS4, a Jordan Formula 1 car and a Lola Formula 3000 car."

wavey Hello James!

Please let's have some more motoring related chat on Saturday Kitchen. If the the wife demands I watch it, might as well be about something I'm interested in (bar the cooking - which is on the whole, excellent) rather than some feeble celeb hawking their latest show/book etc.

Thats the one, thanks for the pic very helpful.

Its http://chopard.watchfinder.co.uk/Chopard/Mille%20M...

He did the Mille Miglia so it figures he'd have this watch, the strap looks like a old classic car tyre. Very nice but a bit out of my price range.

Thanks for the help.

I recall him having a 288 GTO also. Unless he has sold it in which case that make him a very silly man!
