Just arranged for this to become mine... hopefully have it for the weekend!

Will most certainly be purchasing a bracelet for it in the near future!

What do you think?

im not usually a fan if im honest but that is lovely.

for what its worth id keep it on the strap, a bracelet will look a little too much imho and the brown leather perfectly complements the white face as it is.

enjoy

This one most definitely leapt out at me, for sure.

Wahoo.

Similar to mine - I have the black face though. I bought the bracelet afterwards for a change.

Nice watch.

Bracelet suits the blue face down to the ground but as mentioned, I think the bracelet may be a bit too much on the lighter face? I will definitely be taking a very close look though when the time comes.

How much do these bracelets go for at the moment?

Added bonus that I didn't mention - it comes with all 3 straps pictured and has been overhauled by Breitling AD (Rudells, Harbourne, Birmingham) Jan 2010.

Case was refinished and a new crystal was fitted as the AR was marked during the service.

Was that the one on TZ? If it was you beat me to it!

Always fancied an old Chronomat. I've got a Chronomat Evo, but it is bulkier than a very bulky thing, and I fancy the same look but a bit more petite (in keeping with my wrist size). Yours does suit the tan strap.

Yes, off TZ - sorry mate, but not sorry enough to feel guilty ;-)

I think I prefer the darker strap and I seriously doubt if it will come anywhere near the Breitling rubber so expect to see that for sale some time soon!

Looked at bracelet prices, don't expect to see it on a bracelet either haha.

This is 40.5mm from memory, anything bigger than that starts to look large on my wrist.

A little excited doesn't cover it - according to Royal Mail, the watch is waiting for me at home.

I will be nipping back at lunch time to get my hands on it and swap it from the rubber strap it has come on to the darker leather.

Watch this space for pictures.

The next 3 hours will drag for sure.

Put the light strap on it, not sure whether to try the dark. We'll see.

Probably sell the rubber as not a massive fan.

Edit: Updated the picture a little.

That is nice.

I work at an airport, and always have a nosey to see what pilots are wearing. A BA pilot has one of these, and it's the pick of the lot I think.

Good find !

That is lovely. The brown leather strap looks great with it too.

I've always wanted a Breitling - I generally don't wear jewellery - just watches.

Found this. It's second hand but i've been after this particular mode of Starliner for a while!

I dare say this one would look excellent on a ladies wrist as it's really not big or in your face like most Breitlings, which to be honest was one of the reasons I jumped at the chance of acquiring it.

May swap over to the dark strap this weekend and give that a go but the strap matches the tan shoes I am wearing today so jobs a good'un.
