A question of pronounciation, if I may?

Much like the Porsche brand, I hear different pronounciations of 'Omega' and wondered, simply, which is the correct?

Is the homeland pronounciation the one to go for, or perhaps have we adopted in the UK a lazy way of saying it?

So, which is it; Om-mega, or O-mayga?

Its Oh-may-gah, I find the omh-mega really annoying. Like people pronouncing Cobra as Cob-rah.

As in 'Alpha to Omega' then.

I've heard TAG Heuer pronounced TAG 'Hue-er', rather than the correct TAG 'Hoy-er' ...

'O-may-ger' here smile

Oh-meh-ga for me.

O-may-ga sounds much too poncey.

Besides, if Oh-meh-ga was good enough for James Bond it's good enough for me.
