Help with TAG F1 differences and where to buy please.

Hello All

I'm looking to buy another Tag watch and have found this

I absolutely love it and want one. However i cant find it for sale anywhere with the red face and rubber strap. I can find the version with the stainless bracelet no bother.

I did find it on amazon.com and it is $570 which is MILES cheaper than the same watch in the uk and even then i cant find the red one. Would it be safe to buy from amazon?! I went to checkout and see the postage price and the price went from £370 ish to £480 when the tax was added. I have a freind in the states who'd bring me the watch so long as it's safe to get one from amazon.

Thoughts on this please?

Is it a current model? I assume so as it's on the tag website.

I think i prefer the chronograph if i can find one with the rubber strap.

Also is it easy to buy a stainless bracelet to have as well as the rubber one? If so where from and what does it cost?

What i'd prefer to know or hear of are places people have actually spent some money and received the goods!

I'm still keen on amazon if it is trustworthy but thought i'd check uk first.

Could be, but you might get stung for import tax.

Have you tried Tag outlet shops? Bicester Village, Cheshire Oaks etc. ?

Mine's a 2008 model on proper Tag black rubber strap and like new with box and papers.

If i bought from amazon i could have the option to get it sent to the uk and they deduct the taxes when buying it or i could ship to a friend in the states who'd bring me it abroad.

As for straps, i did think i could buy the metal bracelet later. Would it work out cheaper to get the rubber one after? Where can they be bought? I found the metal bracelet for around £250 but couldn't find the rubber.
