Advice on Vintage Omega Please
Discussion
Hi All,
Looking for a nice gift for the missus without breaking the bank...
Have seen this on eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/110559657527 which looks good. I have emailed the seller and all seems well - apparently he's sold quite a few of these of recent, so the one in the photo (which I think the 12 marker seems wonky on) is not available anymore.
He has assured me that they're all original etc, so I'm about take the plunge.
The only watch I have is an Omega PO, bought from high street, and so I'm not au fait with the older watches and marks of being genuine.
Any thoughts much appreciated

I bought the Wife a watch from that seller for her 30th birthday. I really wanted a birth year watch and it was the best I could do at short notice
. Fella was a total gent throughout the transaction. He came by the watches via an advert, the old fella was a dealer who passed away and his Wife did nothing with his stock. It was only on her passing that the family found a treasure trove that the seller subsequently purchased.

Wife loves it and it was truly as new. Came boxed, with hang tag but no papers. It's a beautiful wee piece. I have no hesitation in recommending the seller, he even accepted an offer
His feedback speaks volumes.
EDIT: Seller's pics.
