Anyone know about this watch?
How does the 0-10 inner partial chapter ring thingy ( there must be a correct name for this) work?

All I know is that it's nick-named the 'Clown-master' for it's hideous US based design. I don't think it sells very well at all, even the US market tends to shun it. The old YM was nice though!

Dunno how the 10 hour countdown timer is set or works, but it's supposed to be a very neat movement.

+1 to that. It looks like someone had a huey and rolf inside the crystal. Is it a ten hour countdown though? That would be fk all use in a regatta. More likely to be 10 minutes.

The old YachtMaster wasn't only nice, it is nice. They still make it. It is the most comfortable Rolex I've ever had, given the nice rounded edges to the case. The only problem with the one I had, (steel/rolesium) was that it was a bugger to tell the time in certain light conditions, as there was no contrast between the dial and the hands. I sold it because of that and bought a Submariner.

YM1 is my favorite watch and I've had a full sized solid gold one for 10 years or so now.
I don't like the YM2-it's too big,too fussy and too gadgety.

I too have a YM1 and have to say its the nicest Rolex ive ever worn, Ive had a couple of other since but always come back to the YM

I do like the YM2 but its a little too showy for my liking.

Ive go the normal yachtmaster and when in dubai looked at the II, its massive very heave ( white gold ) and not worth the 25k asking price.

I dont think it is a nice looking watch either, just curious how the bezel and inner chapter ring work.
