Which watch (Sorry TAG content)

The time has come to purchase a proper watch and I can't decide between these 2

This is the first watch I saw years ago and knew I'd have to buy one day.



Was about to do the deal but then saw this one....



Both would cost about the same... The 2nd one comes with an og brown leather strap also, both mint

Thought I knew which watch I'd buy but now not sure..

Which one should I go for?....


Anyone got any constructive thoughts?

I've looked at Omega Speedmasters but can't get one with the lack of date and the Day/date ones are all a bit too fussy for my liking.

The re-edition of the original Carrera is in my view the nicer / classier watch. Don't think they've been made for a while, so should be well priced.
It is however, quite small compared to the more modern version so how do they both feel "on the wrist"?

The first one looks much nicer. The latter is a bit fussy.

I currently wear a CWC military watch which is quite small. The Re edition is 39mm which is bigger than what I'm wearing now.

Anyone got a wrist shot?
