Purchased a Parnis mechanical watch a couple of months ago and the weight has fallen off the winding mechanism. Looking to remove the back of the watch and look to reattach the weight but does anyone have any idea how to do it?
Thanks

More info needed. Which model? Pic of caseback? I could remove it but I am not touching the insides. I have already destroyed two automatic watches by poking them with a screwdriver. Oh, there's a 25% chance I could scratch the caseback, too.

You will need a caseback removal tool but it depends on whether it's a screw caseback or a push caseback!

As Shadow said, if it's a screw type back (which I think most Parnis's are) then you'll need a case back tool.
Don't worry though these are available for a few quid from ebay, cousins, maplins, and many more.

Pics would help tho' smile

Yes. Just take your time and don't put too much pressure. You ought to google tips on removing casebacks because that glass could be ruined with a slip.
