Breitling Navitimer Montbrilliant Legende Limited Edition

After many years of drooling, pondering & dreaming, Mrs Arese has finally given up and given me her blessing to get the watch I've always wanted. Well, today we popped into the jewellers to look at the latest prices for a standard Navitimer and spotted the Montbrilliant Legende Limited Edition.

Quite a mouthful, but what a watch!

I tried it on and we were both gobsmacked. It looked amazing, fitted me perfectly straight out of the box, we were both just stunned. Only 1000 have been made in the world too, so pretty rare. It has the number engraved on the side of the case too (xxx/1000)

We're just working out how to afford it

So at last, I might be able to add to the 'wrist check' thread.

Can anyone offer any advice on negotiating the price? Or is that not likely with it being a LE?

Very nice, I had a look at that the other day.

I'm sure there will be some room for a bit of discount, more so if it's not an AD like Goldsmiths but an independant. Don't be afraid to walk away though, I'm sure there are plenty of dealers who will be willing to get you one at a decent price.

Thanks for all the input Gents! I'll give Dominic a call tomorrow, but I am keen to buy it from the jeweller I saw yesterday. He's an independent and a really nice guy, and only 40 minutes away. That said, if I can get it cheaper....

It is pretty large yes, but I have large wrists and it did suit me. Even if I say so myself.
