Hi there, (warning saddo coming up) my wife and I have sort of matching is Rolexs (Sub and Datejust) that we have recently bought each other.

She also has a JLC Reverso (plain and diamonds) and I have an Omega Seamaster Pro (mid size black bezel).

We are are thinking of selling the reverso and SMP and getting (saddo warning) matching hack watches - sports models on black rubber straps

So advice needed is

1) best place to sell/trade the JLC and SMP
2) suggestions for man and womans sort of matching sports watch. Would prefer date, automatic, water proof ~ 300m etc

Thanks in advance.

Why not give her the SMP and get a full size SMP for yourself?

PS Do you wear matching clothes?

why not just get her a seamaster to match yours?

also what matches (apart from brand) about a sub and a datejust?

By 'hack watches' do you mean a daily knock-about watch?

If so, how about:
Her -

Sinn U200
Sub-steel case, hardened
mid-size, 36 mm
2000 m waterproof

Him -

Sinn U2 (there are other variants)
sub-steel case
Hardened
44mm(?)
2000m w/r

Do you keep her locked in the cellar when you go to work so she can't escape?

Getting rid of a JLC Reverso to get a matching watch?

How odd.

Yes, is this a problem? Oh, wait, you didn't mean me.

My fiance and I would like matching watches, we want JLC reverso's they are awesome. You already have one so why not get another for yourself?

Seriously, though PM with how much you would sell the reverso for.

Ulysse Nardin do both male and female variants of their dive watches.

Right, now the handbags are out of the way (have you two had a cry and a hug yet?) we can get back to talking about watches.

It's a bit of a left-field suggestion, but IWC do a "father and son" set of pilot's watches, which, if you squint, could be considered as "his'n'hers".

It's a lovely idea that may well earn you some spectacular horizontal jogging, but I do think you run the risk of looking a bit "matching kagouls"...
