I really, really like the look of this watch -

Question is, is it actually a decent watch and worth the £1200 price tag? I don't mind spending the money as i was going to buy a Tag Carrera but I much prefer the look of this one.

Where is the cheapest place to buy? I have seen it for £1013 in duty free:

See here:

This is the cheapest I have come across. Everywhere else seems to sell it for approx £1200.

I'd be tempted to look for a pre-owned one. There's one on Chrono24 for about $1K, which is >counts on fingers< £650-ish.

Has to be brand new I'm afraid. Just a snobbish thing really.

Is the freelancer deemed a good watch?

I tried on a Tag Aquaracer Chronograph day-date yesterday at the Airport and I have to say I may be edged back toward the Tag. I really, really like it on, although I though the case was maybe a tad too thick.

This one -

It was a really good price too. £1195. About £200-£300 cheaper than everywhere else.

Well it's no worse than a TAG.
